Description
Otosan Spray® with organic plant extracts is an innovative product for removing earwax and for daily ear hygiene. If used daily, it prevents ear wax formation.
Using a unique blend of natural organic plant extracts it gently softens and removes ear wax that can irritate and lead to buzzing, whistling and the sensation of a blocked ear.
Combining the effective softening action of saline solution with the cleansing properties of tea tree oil and the moisturising action of aloe plus the proven health benefits of 100% organically grown plant extracts: Lemon with outstanding purifying properties, the effective soothing action of Camomile and Marigold and the emollient power of Mallow.
This ear spray is highly effective against the build up of stubborn earwax that olive oil alone cannot remove.
Cerumen or earwax is a naturally produced compound by specialised glands in the ear canal, and it helps to lubricate and protect the delicate structures of the ear as well as prevent pathogens from entering.
However, this waxy product can build up and cause earache pain, a loss of hearing, tinnitus and balance problems, especially as we get older.
The temptation when earwax becomes impacted and hard is to try to loosen it physically, but this risks driving it deeper into the ear and potentially causing irreparable damage to the sensitive ear drum membrane.
Otosan Ear Spray gently softens the wax, easing discomfort and maintains protection against infection.
This natural and high quality remedy is the result of long-standing experience gained over the years from scientific research into ear sprays, and the ingredients of the spray are guaranteed from organic sources.
Otosan Ear Ecological spray uses no propellant gases and has no artificial colouring.
Use daily as part of your ear hygiene program.
50ml.

Otosan Ear Spray can help in the following ways;
Cleansing & Purifying the ear canal:
Isotonic Saline Solution: Isotonic saline solution is widely used in ear care preparations and ear irrigations. It helps to cleanse the auditory canal, dissolving earwax.
Lemon: Lemon activates human defences and stimulates the production of white and red corpuscles. This property, combined with the bactericidal action is very useful in the prevention and in the treatment of infectious illnesses, in particular for those triggered by viruses.
Antiseptic/Antibacterial action:
Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca essential oil): The healing action of Tea Tree Oil is due to its antiinfective power, both against bacteria, some kinds of viruses and many types of fungus. Its action against bacteria is generally bactericidal, in other words it is able to defeat germs. The most susceptible germs are the aerobe ones (gram positive, gram negative), but at the same time a remarkable number of anaerobe are destroyed by tea tree essential oil. Furthermore, Tea Tree Oil reduces the proliferation of inflammatory cells and their capability of producing phlogistic cytokines.
Anti-Inflammatory, Soothing & Calming Action:
Aloe Vera: Aloe has a strong healing action for skin wounds, burns and inflammations, because it creates a protective coat on the damaged area, while fastening its natural regenerative process and cicatrization. Its regenerative and moisturising activity makes it particularly useful for fastening healing of scar tissue. It is also useful in any skin conditions where astringents and emollients are needed. It is supposed that its healing property on skin is due to its capacity to improve the activity and the turnover of collagen in the scar tissue through fibroblast stimulation.
Marigold: Marigold contains significant anti-inflammatory properties known as triterpenoids, namely faradiol. Faradiol inhibits the chemicals cytokines and cyclooxygenase-2, that are responsible for the inflammatory process. In herbalism, marigold in suspension or in tincture is used topically for acne, for reducing inflammation, controlling bleeding, and soothing irritated tissue. Much of the healing properties of marigold are related to its high levels of carotenoids (vitamin A like compounds). Marigold also contains oil soluble sterols that help plump the skin and prevent thinning.
Chamomile: Chamomile is a great soother. Its anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and infection-fighting effects can benefit the whole body – inside and out. When taken internally, it calms digestive upsets, relieves cramping and relaxes the nerves. It also works externally on the skin and the mucous membranes (especially of the mouth and eyes), relieving rashes, sores and inflammation.
Mallow: Rich in minerals, vitamins A, B1, B2 and C, tannins and anti free radical pigments, mallow has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, emollient and calming properties. Mallow is also a demulcent that softens tissue and soothes damaged or inflamed surfaces, including dry hands, sunburn and diaper rash. In addition to its emollient qualities, it is also mildly astringent, and when included in poultices, it is helpful for sores, psoriasis, weeping eczema, boils, abscesses, insect bites and wounds.
NOTE: There is no evidence of toxicity problems related to the concentration of the active components contained in the formula, which is much lower than the minimal toxic dose.
