Why is fermented food so good for us? It’s an amazing story…
…read on…
Keeping us healthy are trillions of bacteria deep in our digestive system.
Not always something we think about is it? However, these small organisms are vital to our lives because they produce some of the nutrients we need (including essential vitamins), they help us break down our food, they improve our immune system and they protect the lining of the gut itself.
Modern life isn’t kind to these creatures and they are under attack from the additives in our food, the environmental pollution we consume and the stress response caused by how we live.
So, it’s time we did something to help them.
That’s exactly what this supplement does – it is a bit like sending in the cavalry when the odds are against the besieged defenders of a fort.
Providing at least 13 billion live bacteria in each capsule which will swell the ranks of the good strains we need.
Together Health say;
“Our fermented food multibiotic comes from 45 farm-grown (with no nasty pesticides) fruits and vegetables. We let them ferment in a symbiotic co-culture of 11 strains of live bacteria, yeasts, and acetic acid bacteria. When this multibiotic enters your digestive system, it encourages the rapid growth of hundreds of substrains of friendly bacteria.
“Because we use “living foods” to transport our bacteria, they work in synergy with the other friendly bacteria. It’s the natural and effective way to balance the microbiome.
“In addition, after fermentation, the whole foods contain lots of pre-digested, highly absorbable vitamins, minerals, trace elements, and amino acids, active standardised amounts of high potency antioxidants polyphenols and phytochemicals.”

More Info
Fermented foods are foods that have been through a process of lactofermentation in which natural bacteria feed on the sugar and starch in the food creating lactic acid. This process preserves the food, and creates beneficial enzymes, b-vitamins, Omega-3 fatty acids, and various strains of live cultures.
The producers have selected a blend of strains that help provide and maintain a wide selection of beneficial bacteria to keep our microbiome healthy.
There are a total of 11 strains that are cultured in fermented fruit and veg; Aspergillus oryzae AO686, Saccharomyces cerevisiae SC069, Lactobacillus acidophilus LA107, Lactococcus lactis subsp. Lactis LL362, Lactobacillus plantarum subsp.plantarum LP168, Bifidobacterium animalis subsp.lactis BLA281, Bifidobacterium bifidum BB223, Bifidobacterium longum BL268, Pediococcus pentosaceus PP359, Pediococcus acidilactici PA305, Acetobacter aceti AAC270.
Then they add the following further 5 strains to the fermented fruit and veg; Bifidobacterium lactis BS01, Lactobacillus acidophilus LA02, Lactobacillus plantarum LP01, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, Bacillus Coagulans LMG 6326. We also include two prebiotics; Isomalto-oligosaccharide and Inulin.
