Gentle Ear Cleansing with Otosan Ear Spray

Otosan Ear Spray is a gentle ear cleansing spray designed to help soften and remove excess earwax while supporting natural ear hygiene.

Its carefully balanced formula combines the cleansing action of an isotonic saline solution with tea tree oil and organically farmed botanical extracts traditionally used for soothing and cleansing.

Why Earwax Matters

Earwax plays an important protective role within the ear canal. However, excess wax can sometimes build up and contribute to discomfort, blocked ears or reduced hearing.

Otosan Ear Spray helps soften and loosen excess wax in a gentle, non-invasive way.

Natural Plant-Based Formula

Otosan Spray combines tea tree oil with organically farmed plant extracts including:

  • Aloe vera – traditionally used for moisturising
  • Lemon – valued for purifying properties
  • Chamomile – soothing and calming
  • Marigold – traditionally used for skin comfort
  • Mallow – known for emollient properties

Designed for Everyday Ear Hygiene

The spray is easy to use and helps support regular ear hygiene without the need for cotton buds or harsh cleaning methods.

More Info

Otosan Ear Spray can help in the following ways; Cleansing & Purifying the ear canal: Isotonic Saline Solution: Isotonic saline solution is widely used in ear care preparations and ear irrigations. It helps to cleanse the auditory canal, dissolving earwax. Lemon: Lemon activates human defences and stimulates the production of white and red corpuscles. This property, combined with the bactericidal action is very useful in the prevention and in the treatment of infectious illnesses, in particular for those triggered by viruses. Antiseptic/Antibacterial action: Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca essential oil): The healing action of Tea Tree Oil is due to its antiinfective power, both against bacteria, some kinds of viruses and many types of fungus. Its action against bacteria is generally bactericidal, in other words it is able to defeat germs. The most susceptible germs are the aerobe ones (gram positive, gram negative), but at the same time a remarkable number of anaerobe are destroyed by tea tree essential oil. Furthermore, Tea Tree Oil reduces the proliferation of inflammatory cells and their capability of producing phlogistic cytokines. Anti-Inflammatory, Soothing & Calming Action: Aloe Vera: Aloe has a strong healing action for skin wounds, burns and inflammations, because it creates a protective coat on the damaged area, while fastening its natural regenerative process and cicatrization. Its regenerative and moisturising activity makes it particularly useful for fastening healing of scar tissue. It is also useful in any skin conditions where astringents and emollients are needed. It is supposed that its healing property on skin is due to its capacity to improve the activity and the turnover of collagen in the scar tissue through fibroblast stimulation. Marigold: Marigold contains significant anti-inflammatory properties known as triterpenoids, namely faradiol. Faradiol inhibits the chemicals cytokines and cyclooxygenase-2, that are responsible for the inflammatory process. In herbalism, marigold in suspension or in tincture is used topically for acne, for reducing inflammation, controlling bleeding, and soothing irritated tissue. Much of the healing properties of marigold are related to its high levels of carotenoids (vitamin A like compounds). Marigold also contains oil soluble sterols that help plump the skin and prevent thinning. Chamomile: Chamomile is a great soother. Its anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and infection-fighting effects can benefit the whole body - inside and out. When taken internally, it calms digestive upsets, relieves cramping and relaxes the nerves. It also works externally on the skin and the mucous membranes (especially of the mouth and eyes), relieving rashes, sores and inflammation. Mallow: Rich in minerals, vitamins A, B1, B2 and C, tannins and anti free radical pigments, mallow has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, emollient and calming properties. Mallow is also a demulcent that softens tissue and soothes damaged or inflamed surfaces, including dry hands, sunburn and diaper rash. In addition to its emollient qualities, it is also mildly astringent, and when included in poultices, it is helpful for sores, psoriasis, weeping eczema, boils, abscesses, insect bites and wounds. NOTE: There is no evidence of toxicity problems related to the concentration of the active components contained in the formula, which is much lower than the minimal toxic dose.
